The cottage is built in a garden set above street level, which offers several advantages, such as a better view,.. but until a few months ago, access was only via a flight of stairs.. 
Although the landscape restrictions in this area of Rome prevented the installation of a full-height lift, a number of improvements have made half of the rooms accessible without having to climb any steps. 
A convenient ramp allows guests to reach garden level and access four rooms, whilst a short-distance lift provides access to the reception, bar and a further three rooms.
A comfortable, spacious and fully accessible room is now also available.
