Swimming Pool and Sun Terrace
A building adjacent to the main villa, dating from 1900, has been extensively renovated.
Despite its location in the heart of the historic city centre and Italy’s strict building regulations, it has been possible to create a terrace incorporating a small swimming pool, the result of careful planning and high-quality construction standards
.
The effort involved in the construction is more than compensated for by the knowledge that we are offering our guests the privilege of facilities found in Rome only in a handful of large hotels. The swimming pool is available all year round, but as it is open-air and unheated, during the colder months it is only pleasant for a quick dip after the sauna (from November the water temperature begins to drop; reaching a low of around 13° in January and rising again to reach around 18° by the end of March).
JACUZZI
On the Solarium terrace, there is a Jacuzzi suitable for up to 4 people.
It is available all year round.
It can be used between 11 am and 10 pm; it must be booked a few hours in advance to allow time to prepare the water: it is completely changed and heated to the required temperature.
Use of the Jacuzzi is not included in the room rate.
SAUNA
The sauna is available to hotel guests all year round and is included in the room rate.
During the colder months, it is very pleasant to relax in the sauna and perhaps take a dip in the cold water of the swimming pool.
Use of the sauna is at the guest’s own risk; guests must be aware of the risks associated with their own state of health
Basic rules
To ensure the best possible experience in this oasis, access to the terrace and swimming pool is subject to certain rules, which we ask our guests to respect. Access to the swimming pool and terrace is reserved for hotel guests, from check-in to check-out. Outside these hours, access must be requested from the receptionist. Any friends of hotel guests must be registered and pay an access fee.
SAFETY
The swimming pool is NOT supervised by lifeguards. The maximum water depth is 1.8 metres.
Neither adults nor children are permitted to enter the water if they cannot swim.
Children up to the age of 12 may only be in the water if accompanied by an adult. A small dedicated paddling pool is available for children who cannot swim, on the Solarium terrace.
BAR SERVICE
The bar service provides soft drinks, beers, wine, prosecco, spritz, cocktails and snacks, but not breakfast, which is served on the bar terrace, next to reception.
On the terraces and in the hotel’s outdoor areas, guests may only consume items provided by the on-site bar.
